Creative Arts allows you to reach into yourself and allow the Spirit to work the passion that you have for creating anything your mind and heart may come up with.

Anything that you may see or have seen throughout the church has been thought, designed and/or created by the Creative Arts Servant Team.  There is no one person who can get it done.  We need you, no matter what your talent/gift/skill may be in order to make the vision of our Pastor come to life throughout the church.  Creative Arts allows our Pastor to affectively and effectively deliver God’s Word through visual art!

 Dance is to be a visual translation of the music and prophetic voice of God impacting the worship atmosphere, declaring deliverance and leading celebration through movement. 

Dance Mission

To revive, refresh, restore, and release people back to God through the moving Word. To support and translate the music that goes forth in Fresh Start through the use of choreographed movement.

Ministry Requirements

To join iDance one:

• Must be committed to FSC and have completed Jump Start. (Romans 10:10-11)
• Must be committed to servant hood. Romans 7:6
• Must regularly attend one of three services (8:30am, 10am, or 12pm).  Romans 12:5-7

Rehearsal Schedule

iDance will meet and rehearse on Thursdays from 7:00-9:00pm.

F.L.O.W. (Fearless Leaders of Worship) is the small group musical ensemble that ministers during the Worship Experience at Fresh Start. The provide leadership and vocal support during all services and lead by example the lifestyle of a worshiper on and off the platform.

Ministers on rotation every Sunday. Approximately two Sundays a month ministering.

Time Commitment Schedule

Worship & Arts Bible Study THURS evenings 6:30pm

 Rehearsals THURS evenings 7-9PM

The Ideal F.L.O.W. member:

• Calling to Minister through Worship
• Solid vocal foundation( including matching pitch, hearing parts, individual study)
• Strong musical and social leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Preferred 1-2 years experience in small group (10 or less) vocal ensembles or praise team

F.L.O.W. media - Come help us enhance our worship experience as we use modern technology to make Christ known!

The media department here consists of a 5 stations:

Sound - This includes operating the mixer board, mixing band and vocals, operating Pastor or speakers microphone, audio recording service etc. Anything heard during service will come from the sound department.

Lights - This includes setting the atmosphere before service, during service and after service with the proper lighting. From the fun lighting that raises the energy in worship, to the lighting that leads us into intimacy with God.

Presentation - This is anything that shows up on the projector screen. Its the backgrounds chosen, song lyrics, pastors notes and video announcements.

Video(production and editing) - This is the creation of video announcements and series videos.

Crew - This job consists of dressing the stage before service to make sure the cords aren't in the way, set changing during interactive presentations, band aid, and lighting aid.

Rehearsal Schedule

We meet every Thursday for rehearsal at 6:30pm in the main sanctuary. We also have media tutorial every third Saturday of every month 10am-12pm.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn
• Flexibility to arrive early before service and stay late after service
• Ability to react and respond quickly to sudden changes

Experience helpful, but not necessary. Training for all positions is provided

The worship band is scheduled for Sunday morning and afternoon worship, usually anywhere between two to three times a month. Ministry consists of services on Sunday at 8:30AM, 10:00AM, and 12:00N. Members are also schedule for special events throughout the year. Call time for schedule persons is an hour and 15 minutes before start of service.

Rehearsal

The worship band bible study /rehearsals are Thursday prior to Sunday scheduled, from 6:30-9:30PM.

Requirements

• Must be a skilled musician open to additional training
• Must be committed to serving the Lord through music
• Must attend the weekly rehearsal sessions when scheduled
• Must commit time to individual practice to prepare for rehearsal and worship service

 
The Sound is designed for any member of the church of any age who has a pure heart for the Lord and a love to sing praises unto God. We minister one Sunday a month for all services.  Although choir experience is welcomed it is not a requirement. Come help us create The Sound of heaven!

Requirements

• You must be a member of Fresh Start Church
• You must complete iWorship Series training sessions:  Although completion of the iWorship training is a prerequisite to fully participate in the choir, prospective members are welcomed to attend rehearsals to become familiar with rehearsal procedures and choir responsibilities.

Yes we need you!

We meet at least once a month, on Thursdays @ 6:00 p.m. to discuss and plan out as much of the Pastor’s series as possible, but depending on what needs to be done in order to complete the series, we may have to get together much more often in order to get the task completed in a timely and efficient manner.  We never want to feel like we have to rush or wait to the last minute to complete a task if at all possible!

This is why we need your input and skills in order to make it all happen as one body in Christ.  So we look forward in seeing you at the next meeting.
